Job Description

As an Industrial Engineer in Durban, you will focus on optimizing manufacturing systems and processes. You will employ data analysis and engineering principles to propose solutions that enhance overall efficiency. Key areas of focus include cost reduction, quality improvement, and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with management to set productivity goals and monitor progress.
  • Use simulation software to model process changes and predict outcomes.
  • Assist in the development of operational budgets and project scopes.
  • Provide leadership and coaching on continuous improvement methods.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Review and mitigate operational risks associated with production changes.
  • Implement health and safety standards within engineering processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field is advantageous

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
