Overhead Irrigator

Job Description

The Overhead Irrigator will be responsible for maintaining and operating overhead irrigation systems to ensure efficient and effective water distribution to crops. This role requires knowledge of irrigation systems, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Install and operate overhead irrigation systems effectively.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on irrigation equipment.
• Monitor and analyse irrigation performance data.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
• Train junior staff on best practices in irrigation management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma
• Relevant irrigation certification is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
