Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, executing tests, and ensuring the overall quality of our software products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive testing framework.
• Ensure compliance with established QA processes and procedures.
• Analyze requirements and design test scenarios based on specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend tools for quality assurance.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure optimal system performance.
• Assist in the training of junior QA members.
• Identify areas for process improvement and streamline workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance testing.

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Git: Experience with version control tools and strategies.
• Scripting knowledge: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation.
