Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Nelspruit. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing support to individuals and families in need, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and guidance to improve their well-being.

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to clients facing challenges.
• Leverage community networks to enhance client service delivery.
• Participate in case reviews and evaluations.
• Foster and maintain relationships with community partners.
• Promote awareness about the importance of mental health and wellness.
• Train and supervise interns or support staff when needed.
• Help clients navigate legal and financial assistance resources.
• Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to improve services.
• Stay current with best practices in social work and advocacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work or related disciplines
