Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon in our busy Durban clinic, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animals, performing surgical procedures, and promoting animal health. We're looking for someone passionate about animal welfare and skilled in managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert veterinary care to patients in need.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual cases.
  • Conduct surgeries and monitor recovery processes.
  • Educate clients on preventative care strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in veterinary practice.
  • Maintain and update veterinary medical records accurately.
  • Be part of emergency services as required.
  • Promote a positive work environment focused on animal welfare.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Surgery preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in veterinary surgeries and procedures
