Job Description

As a Social Development Manager in Pretoria, you'll lead initiatives aimed at enhancing community welfare through strategic planning, partnerships, and program execution. Collaborate with local stakeholders to address key social issues and ensure sustainable development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning efforts for social initiatives targeting community development.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather input and feedback on program effectiveness.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure financial accountability.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to assess community needs and program impact.
  • Advocate for policies that promote social equity and access to services.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local businesses and educational institutions for program support.
  • Organize community events to raise awareness and promote services available to residents.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years’ work experience in community development or related fields
