Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding nursing care to patients in a busy hospital environment.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Administer intravenous therapies and monitor infusion rates.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Assist in emergency situations, including CPR and first aid.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Patient Care

Certifications

• Registered Nurse Licensure in South Africa
• BLS Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in a specialized area (ICU, pediatrics, etc.): Specialized experience in intensive care or pediatric nursing is a plus.
