Responsibilities
Lead grassroots initiatives and mobilise community members towards local activism.
Conduct surveys to assess community needs and perceptions.
Engage with community leaders and organisations to form partnerships.
Organise and facilitate community meetings to gather input on initiatives.
Develop educational materials and resources for community outreach.
Monitor and report on the progress and impact of projects.
Identify potential funding opportunities for community programs.
Support the organisation's communication strategies through social media.
Encourage community involvement in local decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work or Public Administration
Additional training in project management or community engagement is preferred
Experience
2-4 years of experience in community outreach or organizing
