Job Description

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. The ideal candidate must be proficient in legal terminology and have a keen eye for detail. Join our dynamic legal team in Cape Town and contribute to our success!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file legal documents and ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Conduct client interviews and maintain communication.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery processes including document management.
  • Research applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support senior attorneys during trials and hearings.
  • Organize and archive case files and documents.
  • Track case progress and report updates to attorneys.
  • Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
  • Coordinate with external parties, including expert witnesses and other lawyers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
  • Paralegal certification is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation
