Extraction Worker

Job Description

As an Extraction Worker, you'll be at the forefront of our construction projects, responsible for operating haulage equipment and ensuring safe and efficient material transport. The ideal candidate is physically fit, attentive to detail, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy machinery including telescopic handlers and dump trucks.
• Load, transport, and unload various types of excavated materials.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
• Assist in training new workers on safety procedures and equipment usage.
• Ensure all materials are delivered on schedule.
• Participate in site cleanup and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of materials transported.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance site efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the construction or mining industry is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
