Job Description

As the Development Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our fundraising strategies. You will identify potential donors, build relationships, and spearhead impactful campaigns aimed at enhancing our community development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of innovative fundraising strategies.
• Build and manage relationships with corporate partners and individual donors.
• Oversee the development of marketing and promotional materials for fundraising efforts.
• Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and donor prospects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities and implement improvements.
• Engage with community members to promote understanding of the organization's mission.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging around fundraising efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Certifications in Fundraising or Non-Profit Management are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years' experience in the non-profit sector, focusing on fundraising

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Digital Fundraising: Familiarity with online fundraising platforms and social media marketing.
