Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Social Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be committed to advocating for social justice and providing support to diverse populations. You will work closely with individuals and families facing social challenges, creating tailored intervention plans to promote their well-being and integration into society.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify needs, strengths, and weaknesses of clients.
• Provide guidance and support to clients in stressful situations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to client's circumstances.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions.
• Work closely with educational institutions on behalf of youth clients.
• Evaluate outcomes and effectiveness of interventions.
• Facilitate support groups for clients to share experiences and foster community.
• Stay current on local resources and services to better serve clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in direct social work practice or case management
