Job Description

As a Project Manager in Johannesburg, you will oversee and coordinate a variety of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop project plans, and manage stakeholder communication. This role requires a blend of strong leadership skills and technical project management proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management.
• Draft and review all commercial contracts and agreements.
• Handle disputes and conduct mediations or arbitrations.
• Establish and implement internal policies and procedures based on legal regulations.
• Conduct training sessions to educate staff on legal protocols.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors and stakeholders.
• Review company practices to ensure compliance with local laws.
• Analyze legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• LLB with honors
• Master’s degree in law is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
