Job Description

We are looking for a Legal Advisor to contribute to our dynamic legal team in Johannesburg. This position requires expertise in corporate and commercial law, ensuring compliance and managing legal risks for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal resource for corporate matters.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, ensuring legal compliance.
• Provide legal opinions on various matters affecting the organization.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Engage with external legal advisors when necessary.
• Implement and maintain compliance programs across the organization.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings when required.

Requirements

Education

• JD or equivalent legal qualification
• Postgraduate degree in Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate legal advisory.

• Legal Practice Course (LPC)
