Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Pretoria office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing effective legal advice to the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to support business objectives while minimizing legal risks.

Responsibilities

• Review legal documents and provide sound legal counsel.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors when necessary.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and training.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies.
• Contribute to the development of corporate policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing legal reports and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Additional qualifications in corporate law are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial law and compliance.
