We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our friendly team in Durban. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist in medication management, provide counseling for patients, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Your role is essential in guiding patients towards better health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to patients based on prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Conduct patient consultations and provide medication counseling.
• Monitor patient medication regimens for efficacy and safety.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient medication history.
• Educate patients on potential side effects and proper medication use.
• Stay updated on new pharmaceutical developments and treatment protocols.
• Assist in managing pharmacy inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide vaccination services and health screenings as needed.
• Participate in community health outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) or additional certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a registered pharmacist

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council
• CPR and First Aid Certification
