Job Description

As a City Surveyor, you will conduct surveys and analyze data on land, buildings, and infrastructure, providing critical support for urban planning. Your expertise will contribute to the successful development of city projects, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute surveys for urban development projects.
• Interpret data to provide strategic insights for planners.
• Prepare technical documentation for project submissions.
• Work closely with local authorities and compliance offices.
• Train and supervise junior surveyors and support staff.
• Conduct research on surveying methodologies and tools.
• Present findings to stakeholders and project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban surveying projects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software
• Experience with surveying tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Collaboration Skills

Certifications

• Registered Professional Land Surveyor
• Construction Site Safety Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
