Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will develop and implement training programs tailored to employee needs. Your role will also involve continuous assessment of training effectiveness and collaborating with management to align company goals with learning objectives.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement effective onboarding programs for new employees.
• Run training sessions and webinars that cater to various learning styles.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations and surveys.
• Work with external vendors to source additional training resources.
• Drive engagement by promoting a culture of continuous learning within the company.
• Support the implementation of mentorship programs as part of employee development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in learning and development or HR

Technical Skills

• Instructional Design
• E-Learning Platforms

Soft Skills

• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with popular LMS platforms to track employee training.
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Theories: Understanding of how adults learn and retain information.
