Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our operations in Durban. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction through the effective management of our inventory and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehousing operations to achieve goals in safety, productivity, and quality.
• Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
• Coordinate training programs for new employees and ongoing training for staff.
• Evaluate warehouse operations and implement improvements as needed.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of all warehouse transactions and activities.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Foster good relationships with suppliers and logistics providers.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or certification in Warehouse Management or Logistics is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment

Languages

• English: Fluent
