Responsibilities

• Offer strategic legal advice to management and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and other professionals as required.
• Stay updated on changes in legislation that may affect the organization.
• Develop training programs on legal compliance for staff.
• Assist in the management of legal risks and compliance issues.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification in law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate legal advisory

Certifications

• Certified Legal Manager (CLM)

Languages

• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Proficiency in additional languages: Fluency in another official South African language is a plus.
