Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Legal Advisor to join our esteemed legal team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal support and advice, ensuring compliance with local regulations while facilitating business growth.

Responsibilities

• Advise management on legal risks associated with business decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal considerations are integrated into their strategies.
• Manage disputes and legal risk issues.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on relevant legal practices.
• Review and revise internal policies as needed.
• Stay updated with changes in legislation affecting the company.
• Support the Head of Legal in strategic planning and risk management.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• LLM or equivalent postgraduate law degree
• Additional certifications in relevant fields will be advantageous.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in legal practice or advisory roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
