Job Description

A Tile and Stone Setter is responsible for installing, repairing, sanding, and finishing parquet flooring in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with various flooring materials and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and lay out floorboards for parquet installation.
• Adhere parquet flooring according to industry standards.
• Perform sanding and finishing tasks to ensure high-quality appearance.
• Advise clients on flooring options and provide estimates.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Document project progress and report to the Flooring Manager.
• Train junior installers on best practices and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Apprenticeship or on-the-job training in parquet flooring installation

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in flooring installation.

Technical Skills

• Specialized tool usage

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills

Certifications

• Certification in flooring installation

Languages

• English: Fluent
