Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. This role will focus on designing and optimizing mechanical systems for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and innovative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies.
• Interface with suppliers and contractors.
• Utilize CAD software for design work.
• Ensure quality control of mechanical components.
• Assist in training junior engineers and staff.
• Review and approve technical drawings and documents.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project integration.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product development and design

• AutoCAD

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
