Job Description

As a Retail Buyer in Cape Town, you will take charge of the purchasing process, from supplier negotiation to product selection. You will analyze market trends and sales data to ensure our offerings are competitive and appealing to our customer base.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source products that meet customer demand.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to maximize profit margins.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to maintain inventory levels.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to refine product selection.
• Collaborate closely with merchandising and marketing teams.
• Participate in product development meetings.
• Monitor competitor pricing and product offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and vendor interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in retail buying or merchandising

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
