Job Description

In the role of Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, you will advocate for equitable practices within our organization. Your responsibilities will include developing training programs and policies that promote an inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement diversity recruitment strategies to attract a diverse talent pool.
• Conduct regular training sessions on diversity, equity, and inclusion for employees.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops to promote an understanding of diversity and inclusion issues.
• Monitor and evaluate diversity and inclusion initiatives to measure effectiveness.
• Advise management on best practices for creating an inclusive workplace culture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that diversity goals are met.
• Prepare reports on diversity metrics and present findings to senior management.
• Serve as a point of contact for diversity-related inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Master's degree in Organizational Psychology or a similar field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in diversity and inclusion roles or related HR functions

• Familiarity with local D&I legislation: Awareness of the legal framework regarding diversity and inclusion in South Africa.
