Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Draftsman to join our growing team in Centurion. As a key player in our engineering department, you'll be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, supporting the design process, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical principles and CAD software, along with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D models and drawings as per project specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers for components specifications and materials.
• Prepare documentation for fabrication and assembly.
• Perform calculations to support design integrity and feasibility.
• Assist in the training of junior draftsmen and interns.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting and design projects.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
