Job Description

As a Human Resources Generalist at our Port Elizabeth office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture and supporting our employees. You'll be responsible for various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about people.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
  • Onboard new hires and oversee the orientation process.
  • Manage employee relations issues with sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Develop HR programs to enhance workplace culture and productivity.
  • Analyze performance data to identify training needs.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems.
  • Assist in payroll administration and benefit inquiries.
  • Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Psychology
  • Postgraduate HR qualification preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, especially in a generalist role
