Seeking an accomplished Structural Engineer who can lead the design and implementation of structural systems. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments to ensure project success from conception through execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative structural solutions for complex building designs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure streamlined project execution.
• Evaluate and select construction materials for structural applications.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare mitigation plans.
• Deliver presentations to clients regarding design proposals.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
• Review and approve technical documentation for compliance.
• Continuously improve processes for structural engineering outputs.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Strength of Materials

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with seismic design: Specialized knowledge in designing structures to withstand seismic events.
• Membership in engineering organizations: Active membership in professional engineering bodies such as SAICE.
