Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and conducting regular inspections. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment, troubleshooting problems, and performing repairs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
• Document maintenance procedures and repairs.
• Work with external contractors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• NQF Level 5 or above is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial setting

• Hydraulic Systems

Certifications

• National Certificate in Engineering

Languages

• English: Fluent
