Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will apply your expertise to drive projects that aim to improve the infrastructure of Johannesburg. Your role will encompass detailing, analysis, and ensuring compliance throughout each phase of the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team in the design and calculation of structural components.
• Perform risk assessments and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest engineering practices and technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and offer technical support where needed.
• Prepare budget estimates and project timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
