Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Corporate Lawyer who is well-versed in corporate governance and transactional law. This role involves advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, drafting contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations in an ever-evolving legal landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate law department and oversee legal practices.
• Provide insights and recommendations for corporate strategies.
• Draft and edit corporate policy documents.
• Manage risk assessments for corporate transactions.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding legal rights and processes.
• Engage in advocacy to promote client interests.
• Collaborate with business units to align legal and business objectives.
• Facilitate corporate meetings and governance requirements.
• Develop legal frameworks for business operations.
• Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate degree in Law or Business
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years in corporate legal roles

• Compliance Certification Board (CCB) credential
