Job Description

In the position of Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering direct services to clients in need, including assessments, case management, and crisis intervention. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and develop plans that enhance client well-being and social functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of clients and design appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Deliver psycho-social counseling to clients and guide them through issues.
  • Network with other social service organizations and health care providers.
  • Create and maintain case files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
  • Promote client self-sufficiency by connecting them to community resources.
  • Lead support groups and workshops to bolster community engagement.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and legal entities when necessary to advocate for clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master’s degree advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social work or related area
