Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to support our engineering projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills and have experience in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems. You will be integral in ensuring that machinery operates efficiently, thus playing a crucial role in our production processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical repairs and adjustments to ensure equipment reliability.
• Work with engineers to troubleshoot design flaws or improve system efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
• Participate in training sessions to update technical skills and knowledge.
• Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Develop and improve maintenance procedures and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years in mechanical systems maintenance and troubleshooting
