Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer to join our talented team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and devices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical schematics and diagrams for projects.
• Work closely with the project team to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for team members.
• Ensure adherence to environmental standards and practices.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and project reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional certifications in electrical design are preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in electrical systems

• Power Systems Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with electrical modeling software.: Familiarity with software tools like ETAP or PSS/E.
