Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Social Worker to join our team in East London. In this role, you will work closely with families and individuals to provide support and guidance, helping them navigate challenges and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Identify client resources and facilitate access to services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed.
• Work closely with families to create comprehensive support plans.
• Educate clients about available resources and self-advocacy.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly.
• Contribute to community outreach initiatives and awareness programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in a social work setting

• Trauma-Informed Care
• Social Services Knowledge

• Analytical Skills
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Registered Social Worker License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
