Job Description

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing innovative landscape projects aimed at enhancing urban environments, parks, and recreational spaces. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create sustainable designs that reflect both aesthetic beauty and ecological integrity.

Responsibilities

• Create aesthetically pleasing and functional landscape designs that enhance public spaces.
• Implement innovative techniques for landscape sustainability, including water conservation and native planting.
• Conduct community engagement to gather input on landscape design proposals.
• Take lead in preparing presentation materials for client meetings and public hearings.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure all design changes are correctly reflected.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration between various project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of professional landscape architecture experience
