Job Description

The HR Generalist role is pivotal in ensuring that our human resources functions are executed effectively. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for overseeing various HR processes including recruitment, employee onboarding, training, and performance management. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture and enhancing employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify staffing needs and drive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Enhance employee orientation and onboarding to improve engagement.
  • Review and update employee handbooks to reflect current practices.
  • Develop programs to resolve conflicts and improve workplace harmony.
  • Administer the performance management cycle, ensuring timely reviews.
  • Coordinate ongoing training opportunities to improve employee skills.
  • Monitor compliance with employment legislation in South Africa.
  • Keep HR documentation orderly and up to date.
  • Engage employees in initiatives that foster workplace wellness and satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in a generalist role
