Job Description

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our Johannesburg-based team. In this role, you will manage various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. You will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee issues with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Assist with employee appraisal and performance review processes.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and evaluate training programs.
  • Manage compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding HR.
  • Coordinate and participate in staff engagement activities.
  • Support the development of a positive workplace culture.
  • Implement and maintain HR information systems.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and employee benefits.
  • Review and update HR documents and employee handbooks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Advanced HR Certification is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in HR management
