As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be instrumental in shaping our workforce. This Durban-based role involves collaborating with hiring teams to define job requirements, crafting job descriptions, and utilizing effective sourcing strategies to find the best candidates. Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs and prepare recruitment plans per department.
• Engage with potential candidates through social media and networking.
• Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
• Conduct reference checks and verify candidates' qualifications and experience.
• Build relationships with universities and recruitment agencies to enhance outreach.
• Analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes.
• Facilitate and lead onboarding sessions for new hires.
• Collaborate with employee retention strategies to reduce turnover.
• Educate hiring teams on best practices for interviewing and selection.
• Actively participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Relevant certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
