Job Description

As an Allied Health Professional (Physiotherapist) in Durban, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs and developing individualized therapy plans. This position requires an empathetic approach and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they receive comprehensive care throughout their rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments to identify movement dysfunction.
• Create tailored rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing mobility.
• Assist patients with enhancing physical fitness through tailored exercises.
• Provide guidance on falls prevention strategies.
• Assist in the training of junior staff/physiotherapy students.
• Conduct workshops and community outreach to promote health and wellness.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients during therapy sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience preferred
