Job Description

Join our vibrant team as a Food and Beverage Manager in Cape Town. You will oversee the management of food service operations, ensuring quality and excellence in every guest interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall food and beverage operations, ensuring standards are met.
  • Create and maintain budgets for food and beverage departments.
  • Engage with guests to ensure their dining experience is exceptional.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency.
  • Implement new initiatives to enhance guest experience.
  • Report on sales and service performance to upper management.
  • Ensure team members are trained in product knowledge and service techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • WSET Certification for wines is advantageous
Experience
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage management
Technical Skills
  • Menu designing expertise
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends

  • Customer service orientation
  • Interpersonal skills
Certifications
  • Certified Hospitality Professional (CHP)
  • ServSafe Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
