Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will oversee various infrastructure projects, from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with architects and construction teams to produce safe, sustainable designs that enhance our urban environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in engineering practices.
  • Assess and improve existing infrastructure for efficiency and safety.
  • Utilize CAD software for creating accurate engineering designs.
  • Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and interns.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Produce detailed budgets and estimates for upcoming projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in large-scale projects
