Job Description

As an Airline Reservationist, you will play a crucial role in managing flight bookings and providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to handle inquiries professionally, and maintain an excellent rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in making flight reservations and adjustments.
  • Inform customers about flight schedules, fares, and routes.
  • Process payments efficiently and issue tickets.
  • Maintain records of customer transactions and communications.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure a seamless travel experience.
  • Provide insights to management on customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Engage in upselling flight packages and additional services.
  • Assist in training new staff members and sharing best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Certification in airline reservation systems (such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) (advantageous)
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role, preferably in the airline or travel industry.
Technical Skills
