We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will contribute to exciting projects focused on mechanical design, analysis, and development of innovative engineering solutions. Your expertise in CAD software and material science will play a crucial role in achieving our engineering objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical systems and components.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Conduct material selection and testing for various applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and safety regulations.
• Review project specifications and provide necessary feedback to stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations for projects.
• Participate in the prototyping and testing of mechanical designs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the manufacturing process.
• Document engineering findings and report progress to management.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
