Responsibilities

• Direct hotel operations, focusing on continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Respond to guest feedback and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for promotional activities.
• Evaluate guest satisfaction metrics and implement initiatives.
• Facilitate staff meetings to drive communication and engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Hotel Management or related field
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in hotel operations

Technical Skills

• Profit and Loss Management
• Inventory Management

Soft Skills

• Conflict Resolution
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS)
• Certified Front Desk Manager

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in event planning and coordination: Capable of managing events hosted at the hotel.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in hospitality: Knowledge of eco-friendly practices in hotel management.
