Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for various tasks on construction sites including mixing concrete, delivering materials, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should have experience working in the construction field and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from cement trucks and other vehicles.
• Ensure concrete mixtures meet specifications for quality and consistency.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors or other construction team members.
• Participate in health and safety meetings and training sessions.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist with other construction tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in the construction industry preferred

Technical Skills

• Heavy equipment operation
• Concrete mixing techniques

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Valid driver's license
• Safety certification (e.g., OSHA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Operating other construction equipment: Experience operating forklifts, backhoes, or similar machinery.
• Knowledge of concrete quality control: Experience in testing and assuring the quality of concrete mixtures.
