Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Baggageman who will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of baggage and cargo at O.R. Tambo International Airport. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with airline and airport personnel to ensure a smooth baggage handling process.

Responsibilities

• Handle heavy lifting and transporting of luggage under strict safety regulations.
• Record any discrepancies or damages in baggage handling.
• Attend training sessions and workshops on airport policies and safety procedures.
• Assist in training new staff members on baggage handling protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent

Experience

• No prior experience necessary, but experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
