Job Description

As a Wildlife Veterinarian at our Durban facility, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive veterinary care for a wide range of wildlife species. This role includes conducting surgeries, performing diagnostics, and collaborating with conservationists to ensure the survival of endangered species.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care to injured wildlife.
  • Conduct routine check-ups and vaccinations for wildlife in rehabilitation.
  • Participate in research and data collection on wildlife health and diseases.
  • Develop and implement protocols for wildlife care and rehabilitation.
  • Engage in community outreach and education about wildlife conservation.
  • Assist in the training of veterinary students and interns on wildlife medicine.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Master's degree in Wildlife Veterinary Medicine is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in wildlife veterinary practice
