Job Description

As a Hazardous Materials Removal Worker, you will be responsible for the safe handling, removal, and disposal of hazardous materials, such as asbestos. You will need to implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations while working on various sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute the physical removal of hazardous materials using specialized equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily activities.
• Monitor the removal process to ensure all safety measures are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of materials removed and disposed of.
• Conduct post-removal inspections to ensure areas are safe for occupancy.
• Assist with the preparation of project reports and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Hazardous Material Handling

Experience

• Experience in construction or similar field is an advantage.
