Responsibilities

• Implement effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assist in developing individual learning goals for students.
• Support students in developing time management and study skills.
• Provide constructive feedback and recognize student achievements.
• Coordinate with other tutors to ensure continuity in student learning.
• Participate in tutoring workshops and community outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Psychology or Child Development is a plus
• Higher degree in Education is an advantage

Experience

• Experience working with children and adolescents

Technical Skills

• Science Tutoring

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in special needs education: Experience working with children who have learning disabilities or other special needs.
• Tutoring experience in more than one subject: Ability to tutor multiple subjects is an advantage.
